DIRECTIONS TO
LOWER ALLOWAYS CREEK SCHOOL
 

                From the New Jersey Turnpike:                       From Interstate 295:

                Exit 1 (Pennsville-Salem)                                    Exit for Pennsville/Salem
                            for Route 49 East                                             onto Route 49 East

                        (The New Bridge Road route it no longer accessible.)

                    *  Take Route 49 East through Pennsville toward Salem.
                    *  Count 3 traffic lights in Salem City.
                    *  Make a right at the 4th traffic light onto Yorke Street
                                (a gas station is on the corner).
                                   which becomes Salem-Hancocks Bridge Road.
                    *  Go over Hancocks Bridge passing Police Station and
                                 ball fields on your right.
                    *  See traffic light at a "T". Make a left at the light.
                                (If you were to go right, you would be on the
                                    Access Road to the Nuclear Power Plant.)
                    *  Follow the road and bear to the right around the curve. (Do not go straight.)
                    *  Go 1 mile to the traffic light by the Old General Store (closed).
                    *  Turn Right onto Harmersville-Canton Road.
                                This becomes Main Street, Canton.
                    *  Drive 3 miles.
                    *  LAC School is 967 Main Street, Canton on the right, just past Lisa's Place.
                           A closed mini-store is just beyond the school on the left, if you get lost.

                    Directions to LAC School from Mullica Hill:

                    *  Take Route 45 South toward Woodstown.
                    *  Follow Route 45 South through Woodstown to traffic light in center of town.
                    *  Turn Right onto joint Route 40 & 45.
                    *  At traffic light near WaWa, follow Route 45 straight. (Route 40 bears to the right.)
                    *  Continue on Route 45 into Salem.
                    *  At traffic light in center of town, turn left onto Route 49 East ( Broadway ).
                    *  Go straight through 1 traffic light.
                    *  Make a right at the traffic light onto Yorke Street (a gas station is on the corner).
